ABOUT ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP

Muslim Association Nakuru (MAN) is a membership organization with a strong presence both at the national, regional and global level. The organization currently has a cumulative membership of 500 Members in Nakuru County of Kenya. Membership remains the key strength for the Association as per the strategic plan 2023 to 2027 that is focused on scaling up membership engagement and providing a platform for members’ dialogue and empowerment.

Privileges of Active Members

Note: An active member is one who is either Life or Ordinary Member who has fully paid the mandatory Registration fee and/or Renewal fee for the year.

  1. To attend and participate in decisions at all Annual and Special General Meetings of the Association and to vote.

  2. Eligible for election to an organ of the Association, subject to the Constitution and any other by-Laws and/or Policies.

  3. Enjoy the use of all facilities and services of the Association, subject to the Association's Rules and Regulations.

  4. To access all legitimate information relating to the Association, including internal regulations, registers, and minutes of general meetings, Board reports, financial accounts, investment account reports, and all other Association reports.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME ASSOCIATION'S MEMBER

  1. Filled Muslim Association Nakuru Membership Registration Form

  2. A Copy of;
    • Identification card
    • Two colored passport photographs
    • KRA PIN Certificate
    • A letter from the area Imam of the Sub-County where the applicant resides.

  3. A payment of Ksh. 1000.00 for Ordinary Membership and Ksh. 50,000/= for Life Membership after submission of your registration Form.

NOTE:

The membership fee is payable annually and the membership is valid for one calendar year (January to December)
